The Connecticut Sun (9-5) came back from being down 14 early in the third quarter to defeat the Dallas Wings (6-8) 80-70 and snap a three-game losing streak on Tuesday night at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. Likely All-Star DeWanna Bonner scored 25 points to go along with 13 rebounds and six assists for the winners, while teammate Brionna Jones strengthened her All-Star case with a game- and career-high 26 points.

Second-year player Kaila Charles aided the Sun with her first career double-double, notching 12 points and 12 rebounds. Charles scored eight points in her first eight games combined before reaching double figures in each of her last four contests. She played a season-high 32 minutes on Tuesday. Bonner played the full 40 minutes.

Jasmine Thomas added 11 points and four assists to the winning cause while Arike Ogunbowale (five assists) and Satou Sabally recorded 18 and 16 points, respectively, in defeat.
In addition to being down 14 with 6:55 to go in the third, Connecticut trailed by seven after an Ogunbowale 3-pointer that came with with 4:25 remaining before the fourth. The Sun then went on an 11-0 run sparked by five-straight points from Bonner and they led the rest of the way, including the entire fourth quarter.
This was Connecticut’s first win this season in four tries without Jonquel Jones.

Chicago Sky (8-7) over New York Liberty (7-7), 92-72
Candace Parker notched a season-high 23 points to lead the Sky and also had her second-highest rebounding total (12) and her second-highest assists total (six) of the year. She had 14 rebounds on June 12 and seven assists on June 15. Chicago is now 7-0 with Parker and has won six in a row.
Sky point guard Courtney Vandersloot (10 points, 10 assists) recorded her fourth points-assists double-double-double in a row and her sixth of the season. Her wife Allie Quigley (14 points), Diamond DeShields (11 points, five rebounds) and Kahleah Copper (10 points, six rebounds) all reached double-figure scoring as well. Ruthy Hebard added eight points and 11 boards to the winning cause.
Betnijah Laney continued her incredible season with 18 points, five rebounds and five assists in defeat.
