WNBA’s Mystics to allow 2020 season tickets to roll over into 2021

The Washington Mystics have offered their fans the ability to roll over their season tickets from the 2020 season into 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 season is expected to be played without fans.

The Mystics announced on Wednesday that fans can roll over their season tickets to 2021 since WNBA games in 2020 are expected to be played without spectators, according to a season ticket holder.

Fans of the defending champion Mystics have the option to use their funds from 2020 for the 2021 season. Thus, they will not have to pay extra for season tickets next year.

The Mystics are permitting fans to keep their seating locations and also offering 15 percent bonus credit for single game and group tickets. The extra credit can go towards tickets to see the Washington Wizards and the Capital City Go-Go, the Wizards’ G League team.

The rollover will happen automatically on June 15 for those who already have season tickets. Following the rollover, fans also will be rewarded an Elena Delle Donne bobblehead featuring her holding her 2019 regular-season MVP award.

One more perk for Mystics fans who roll over their season tickets will be free enrollment into the team’s Virtual 2020 Club 52, which gives them the ability to attend special events with the team.

And the team has added even more goodies to the rollover pot: a 2019 championship commemorative book, a “Cloud 9” Natasha Cloud bobblehead and a 20 percent discount at the Mystics’ online team store that will last through October.
