As recently announced by the WNBA, the Washington Mystics (14-6) and Las Vegas Aces (15-7) will resume play from their July 5 contest tonight: Monday, August 5. The July game was suspended at the half due to effects of an earthquake in the area.
At the time of suspension, the Mystics were up 51-36, led by LaToya Sanders’ 14 points and Washington’s 58.8 percent shooting from the field.
Per the WNBA release, all players on each roster as of August 5 will be eligible to play, with all statistics carrying over from July 5.

Game information
When: Monday, August 5, at 10 p.m. ET
Where: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV
How to watch: League Pass, MyLVTV, Monumental
Keys to the matchup: The Aces resume this game at a significant disadvantage. Not only will they be down 15 points, but they’ll also be without A’ja Wilson, who continues to recover from an ankle injury. Meanwhile, the Mystics will have Emma Meesseman available, further adding to their depth advantage. Las Vegas will need Liz Cambage and Dearica Hamby to play near-flawless basketball in the frontcourt to combat this. If there’s one thing working in the Aces’ favor, though, it’s that tonight’s game is the second in a back-to-back for the Mystics, who were blown out by the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday.
