At the 2019 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, Team Home, coached by Hall of Famer Dawn Staley, held a 20-point lead at one point. But that didn’t last. Team Away, coached by basketball legend Sue Bird, made sure of it.

The game was tied three times and there were two lead changes. But Team Home finished on top, 82-80, behind a team-high 22 points from comedian Famous Los, who perhaps thwarted opposing players by making them chuckle.

Still, his efforts were enough for Celeb Game MVP honors.

In the win, former Carolina Panther Steve Smith finished with 13 points and Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson finished with 11.

For Bird’s Team Away, Quavo — playing at forward — scored a game-high 27 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. But fans seemed most impressed with Ray Allen, who recently retired from the NBA following an illustrious career that includes a few championships and three-point records. He scored 24.

As for WNBA representation on Team Away, Chicago Sky center Stefanie Dolson came up goose egg across the box score with the exception of one assist in about seven minutes of play.
