The Dream will play seven of their next ten games at home, starting with a game against the Seattle Storm, who entered the July 4 holiday tied for first in the league. Atlanta’s veteran duo of Angel McCoughtry and Tiffany Hayes are scoring a combined 33.8 points and 4.9 assists per game. The Dream also defeated the Storm in their last meeting on June 10, 67-64, with Hayes scoring 23 points on 10 of 17 in that game.

The Storm are finishing the last game of a two-game East Coast road trip before heading back home on Sunday for a three-game homestand when they host the Mystics, Sparks, and Wings next week. Seattle came into this season looking to build on their young duo of Breanna Stewart and Jewell Loyd while still looking up to Sue Bird’s veteran leadership. This game and the next week will give us a good test on how well this new version of the Storm fares as one of the league’s frontrunners after several years of rebuilding their foundation.
