Preview: Fever host Sparks, Mystics host Aces

Two WNBA games are on the schedule for Tuesday night.

After an action-packed Sunday and a day to rest on Monday, the WNBA is back with two games on the schedule for Tuesday May 22.

Indiana Fever (0-2) vs. Los Angeles Sparks (1-0)

Tipoff: 7 p.m. EST

Streaming - Twitter will stream the game via @TwitterSports

Injuries and absences: None reported

The Fever lost two in a row on back-to-back nights against the Sky and Mystics last weekend. Unfortunately, it won’t get much easier for Indiana since they play the Sparks, who are coming off a close victory over the Lynx on Sunday.

Indiana center Natalie Achonwa played very well against the Mystics, scoring 21 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. If she can put up similar numbers while shooting at an efficient rate against LA tonight, the Fever could make this game more interesting than it looks on paper.

Washington Mystics (1-0) vs. Las Vegas Aces (0-1)

Tipoff: 7 p.m. EST

Streaming: WNBA League Pass (subscription required)

Injuries and absences: For Washington, Tayler Hill is out. For Las Vegas, Kayla McBride and Kelsey Plum are still overseas. The Aces’ Isabelle Harrison is on a medical leave of absence from the team.

A’ja Wilson scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in her WNBA debut on Sunday. But she also shot under 25 percent from the field in a bad loss to the Connecticut Sun. Now that the first game jitters are out of the way, can Wilson get back into form tonight against a Mystics team that struggled to get a convincing win over the Fever?
