As we expected, the Phoenix Mercury swept the Los Angeles Sparks in two games. And in the second game, the Merc handed the Sparks' behinds to them:

Brittney Griner led the way with 21 points on 9-of-9 shooting, made all three of her free throws, and had a two handed slam dunk.
Candace Parker and Nneka Ogwumike scored 21 and 14 points respectively for L.A. The loss ends a disappointing and inconsistent 2014 season, which resulted in the termination of former Head Coach Carol Ross, and the changes may only be beginning from here.
The Mercury will face the #2 seed Minnesota Lynx in the Western Conference Finals.
