Today, some teams will play the second game on a back-to-back, while the Tulsa Shock and Phoenix Mercury begin their seasons. All games are on LiveAccess unless I say otherwise.
1. Atlanta Dream (1-0) at Indiana Fever (0-1), 7 p.m. ET
If you are in Indianapolis, watch this on Fox Sports Indiana. If you're in Atlanta, watch this on SportSouth. Dream rookie Shoni Schimmel and Fever rookie Natasha Howard had really good debuts. Howard in particular. It will be interesting to see if they can keep up their performances Saturday.
2. Chicago Sky (1-0) at New York Liberty (1-0), 8 p.m. ET
This game is on ESPNEWS/ESPN2 or WatchESPN. This is definitely the Game of the Night considering that both teams are coming off of wins Friday, and this is also marks the Liberty's official return to Madison Square Garden after playing three seasons at the Prudential Center in Newark due to arena renovations.
3. Tulsa Shock (0-0) at San Antonio Stars (0-1), 8 p.m. ET
The Shock opens its regular season against a familiar foe which it played twice in the preseason. However, the games count now. I'm looking forward to seeing if Skylar Diggins can continue to keep up the performance she put up in the preseason.
4. Seattle Storm (0-1) at Phoenix Mercury (0-0), 10 p.m. ET
Watch Fox Sports Arizona Plus if you're in the Phoenix area. The Storm needs to take care of the ball better in order to win the game tonight. For the Mercury, this is their first game of the season and playing against a team coming off a back-to-back should play to their advantage.
Song of the Day
Let's play "Happy" by Pharrell Williams.
That's all I have. Enjoy the games everyone!
