The Washington Mystics have cut three players: guard Shannon Bobbitt, guard Ashley Corral, and center Avery Warley. The roster is now at 13 players including guard Matee Ajavon who is still overseas.
Bobbitt and Corral's departures should come as no surprise. I'm a little surprised with Warley being cut however this early in camp. Still, considering that there are a good number of posts here in the DMV, and that it wouldn't be surprising to see Emma Meesseman stay on this roster all season, some post player besides Crystal Langhorne and Kia Vaughn was going to get cut.
