More video links on the Washington Mystics' 2013 Draft

Two more video links from Monumental Network:

1. Here is Monumental Today, which is Monumental Sports & Entertainment's daily roundup of events surrounding Ted Leonsis' teams. Vast majority of stuff will be on Wizards and Capitals news because their seasons are still in full swing. Anyway, on today's roundup, there's a video recap of what the Mystics did on Draft Night. In addition to Tayler Hill, St. John's guard Nadirah McKenith was selected 17th overall in the Draft, and in the video at the 3:23 mark indicates the Thibault plans on keeping her on the roster after training camp from his own words. That should be good news for Queenie.

2. Wizards and Mystics broadcaster Christy Winters Scott gave an interview to Thibault on Draft Night where there was a party at Verizon Center for season ticket holders in regards to the drafting of Tayler Hill and he's obviously pleased about her.

I don't know what to make of his response to Winters Scott's question in regards to swingman Monique Currie and guard Matee Ajavon "returning to the lineup" and "competition at the wing." He visibly didn't seem too pleased with this question and decided to talk more about Tayler Hill instead. It shouldn't be a surprise to see at least either of them dealt in the coming weeks since I don't know if Matee in particular would be pleased being in a lesser role with Tayler starting over her at some point this season, more likely on opening night.
