Kalana Greene claimed off waivers by the Washington Mystics

Greene was a regular starter for the Connecticut Sun for each of the last three seasons and was waived Monday. The Mystics now have picked her up, so this may be an indication that the team may cut a guard soon. H/T to CharGrayJ for finding this.

Swintastic! Atlanta Dream acquires Swin Cash
The Atlanta Dream pick up two-time Olympic gold medalist and four-time All Star Swin Cash from the Chicago Sky in a pre-season trade.

Once again, the Tulsa Shock have announced that they will be without 6-foot-8 center Liz Cambage for the 2014 season.

She will spend this summer with family and training for the FIBA World Championships where she will represent Australia.
What impact will Fowles' injury have on Chicago?

Mystics announce training camp invitees
They add Kirby Burkholder, Haley Peters, Artemis Spanou, Rachel Tecca, Kayla Thornton, and Kody Burke, one of the Mystics' third round picks to training camp roster. We've had some links in the comments, including Jim Hu who mentioned that Burkholder got an invite. But here's the official release from Monumental Sports which came out earlier today.

Jeff Van Gundy likes Stefanie Dolson's screens
There were so many links but I'll just point this one out which I missed. During a broadcast of an Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers game on ESPN last Sunday, April 13, Van Gundy, an NBA ESPN analyst, pointed out that he really like that she "lays the wood on people" right after an advertisement for the WNBA Draft. Cool moment for UConn and Mystics fans.
