The No. 9 Baylor Lady Bears face off against the Iowa State Cyclones on ESPN2 on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET. Iowa State upset Baylor 75-71 on Jan. 16, handing Baylor its second loss of the season and first in Big 12 play.
Junior Ashley Joens of Iowa State scored 27 points in the Cyclones’ upset of the Lady Bears. She is averaging 24.4 points on the season and 9.1 rebounds. Lexi Donarski is the second leading scorer for Iowa State with 12.5 points. Donarski has been in a bit of a slump, shooting a combined 4-of-23 over the last two games.

For Baylor, junior NaLyssa Smith has been a force to reckon with, averaging 17.5 points and 10.2 rebounds. Moon Ursin has scored in double figures in each of her last five games and is averaging 11.5 points on the season. Queen Egbo will be providing rim protection in this one as she has 17 blocks in 12 appearances this season, in addition to averaging 11.3 points.

What to watch: Baylor is more talented and should be focused as they try to avoid a second loss to Iowa State. The Cyclones made eight 3-pointers compared to just four for the Lady Bears in their first meeting. If the Cyclones can make good on their 3-point attempts, they may be able to get another upset win.
