Today was the first day of the early signing period, and with that comes a lot of players deciding their future, both high school and junior college. And while the high school players get a lot of attention, rightfully so, there are a lot of junior college players that are difference makers as well.
Honorable Mention All-American Brittney Chambers signed with Stetson late this evening, per sources. Chambers, an electric 5'6" guard from Daytona State, is the last commit for the Hatters' fall class.
She has a plethora of accolades: Mid-Florida Conference Player of the Year, NJCAA Region 8: All-Region Selection, NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American, NJCAA All-Star.
A well-rounded basketball player that can do it all. Chambers averaged 17.3 points and 4.6 rebounds last season.
