Stetson has received a commitment from one of the top Florida guards in the 2017 class: Shania Meertens. She gave her pledge this weekend, per sources. The 5-7 combo-guard has great athleticism, solids handles, and Meertens has a very nice mid-range game with the ability to step beyond the three-point line.
The three-star guard is very explosive, especially when attacking the basket, as she's also really good at finishing around traffic.The Hatters landed a very talented prospect in Meertens.
