Western Michigan head coach Shane Clipfell has hired Rick Albro as his new assistant coach, according to sources. Albro and Clipfell worked together for three season while at Michigan State.
Albro bring a wealth of experience to the Broncos bench, as he has over 40 years of experience as a coach. He most recently was an assistant at Detroit. During his tenure at Michigan State, he helped the Spartans to three 20-win seasons, with a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2009.
Notes: Clipfell also just received a five-year contract extension.
