NCAA women's conference tournament open thread: Championship days arrive

Six conferences have their championship games today while one is just getting started.

While the NEC tournament begins today, six conferences will be holding their championship games today.

But before we even get to that stuff, let's take some time to do a rundown of what happened yesterday - normally, we'd put everything on the front page but there's no way to fit all of these things:

By far the biggest upset of the day was USC beating Stanford, 72-68. We've posted C&R's thoughts about eight things that went wrong for the Cardinal and SB Nation's Conquest Chronicles has a celebratory recap of a monumental win for their program in Cynthia Cooper's first year as coach.
Kentucky got an upset of their own, beating South Carolina 68-58 in the semifinals of the SEC tournament. You can check out SBN's A Sea of Blue to see how Kentucky fans reacted.
Oklahoma's loss to Texas in the Big 12 tournament is significant in that the Sooners were already on the bubble going in and, as Chuck Chaney noted in his recap here at Swish Appeal, "It's going to be a very nervous Selection Monday for this Sooners squad."
Tennessee snagged a big win over Texas A&M to advance to the SEC tournament final against Kentucky today. By all accounts it was one of the best games in the early going of March Madness so if there's one game you go back and watch, check out that one?
