Brittney Hopley, is a multi-media professional with an extensive sports background. She knew she had a passion for sports from the age of five. Growing up, her father was a huge influence on her athletic career. From watching sporting events with him in her home on the television to seeing the Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs play on their home turf, she knew sports would become her favourite language. She played varsity volleyball during her entire university career, attending Wilfred Laurier for two years in Waterloo. She also received a full scholarship to play division one volleyball at Cal State University in Bakersfield before returning back to Canada to play for the York Lions. She is a two time MVP and OUA All Star at York University as well as an Academic All Canadian. She was awarded six academic scholarships while attending York University.
