Autumn Johnson is currenlty a senior at Kennesaw State University. She is studying Broadcast Journalism and minoring in Sports Marketing. Autumn will be attaining her Bachelor's degree in December 2018. Autumn has experience in the sports industry both on and off the court and field. She has been involved in basketball, softball, and cross-country. Since she was 8 years old, she has had a competitive passion for sports; however, basketball was her main focus as she put all of her time and energy into playing AAU travel basketball and middle and high school. Her junior and senior year she was the captain at Evans High School, assisting in winning several district championships. Coming into college, Autumn’s passion for the game transitioned into the media aspect. Having an interest in sports broadcasting, she networked with the Kennesaw State Women’s Basketball team to start her first opportunity with Kennesaw’s video production team. At the age of 22, Autumn currently holds a position at Turner Sports as a Freelance Runner. She is also a freelance reporter for Swish Appeal, ESPN3 and R3play.TV for in order to gain writing and on-camera experience. Autumn devotes her time to all positions as she has learned how to produce her own stories for each game she covers. This experience has helped her prepare for high profile games and interviews, while also building confidence and personality in front of the camera.
