The Connecticut Sun drafted Duke guard Lexie Brown ninth in the 2018 WNBA Draft. Brown is one of the top point guards in the 2018 Draft Class. At Duke, she was a 3rd Team All American player and averaged 19.4 points and 4.4 assists this past season as a redshirt season. Brown played her first two seasons (2013-15) with the Maryland Terrapins.
I’m a little surprised Brown is in Connecticut because Jasmine Thomas is an All-Star point guard. But great guards can play with each other, so I’m interested to see how she will fit in with Connecticut’s young core.
