Nashville, TN — One of the hottest team’s this year has been the Mississippi State Bulldogs as they entered Sunday’s game still undefeated at 32-0. Very familiar with playing in the SEC Tournament Championship, South Carolina was poised for the game.
Not only did the Gamecocks earn the automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament, but also handed Mississippi State its first loss on the season and brought home its fourth-straight SEC conference title.
From the start, the Gamecocks led the Bulldogs behind the aggressive play of Mikiah Herbert Harrigan who led all scores with 11 points at intermission. In the second half, Tyasha Harris and A’ja Wilson were unstoppable.
