Phoenix, Dallas to tip-off WNBA’s 22nd season

The 2018 WNBA schedule has officially been released.

A few days ago, it was rumored the WNBA would be announcing its schedule, however, it was never released due to an undisclosed setback. Earlier this morning, we first reported that the release would happen today.

And it was, as the official 2018 WNBA schedule has been released.

The season will tip-off May 18 when Dallas travels to Phoenix. The following day will include Indiana hosting Chicago. On Sunday, May 20 there will be six games apart of the 2018 WNBA Tip-Off presented by Verizon is #WNBAAllDay, which will include a championship rematch between Minnesota and Los Angeles on ESPN 2 at 5 pm ET.

Sunday will also include games between the league’s newest franchise as Las Vegas travels to Connecticut (1 pm ET), Indiana will play at Washington (1 pm ET), Atlanta will battle Dallas (3 pm ET), New York will hit the road to play Chicago where the Sky will play its first game at Wintrust Arena ( 7 pm ET), and Phoenix and Seattle will wrap up the night (9 pm ET).

The league also announced 33 games will be streamed on ESPN networks, while at a later date, games to be shown on NBA TV and through Twitter will be announced.
