Parker, Dolson featured in NBA All-Star Celebrity game

On Wednesday, the NBA and ESPN announced the celebrity coaches and rosters the 2018 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, with two strong WNBA superstars on the rosters.

NBA All-Star Weekend is almost a week away, and WNBA fans now have one more reason to tune in to the weekend’s action-packed lineup.

The celebrity coaches and rosters were just released by ESPN and the NBA for the 2018 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented by Ruffles. WNBA superstar Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks will play for Team Lakers (she also participated in the game last year), and Stefanie Dolson of the Chicago Sky will play for Team Clippers.

The All-Star Celebrity game will take place on Friday, February 16 at 7pm ET, at the Los Angeles Convention Center as part of the NBA’s lead up to the All-Star Game on the following Sunday.

ESPN’s Rachel Nichols and Katie Nolan will act as celebrity coaches for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Nichols is joined by Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady and actor Michael B. Jordan to coach “Team Lakers.” Nolan will be joined by NBA legend and ESPN analyst Paul Pierce, as well as actor and recording artist Common to coach “Team Clippers.”
