The Phoenix Mercury announced today they have re-signed Camille Little.
“Keeping Camille in a Mercury uniform was a top priority for us. She is a proven commodity in this league who comes to work every night,” commented Mercury General Manager Jim Pitman in a press release.

Little was acquired by the Mercury prior to the 2017 season in a three-team trade. The 6-foot-2 forward is coming off a 2017 season in which she was the only Mercury player to start all 34 games, while averaging 7.1 points and 3.8 rebounds.
With Little’s contributions as a two-time Defensive Player of the Year, she has quickly helped Phoenix become one of the most versatile front lines in the WNBA. As a former WNBA Champion with the Seattle Storm, Little is only one of five active players in the WNBA with 1,500 career rebounds and 150+ made three-pointers.
Little was originally a 17th overall pick in the 2007 WNBA Draft by San Antonio, after playing her collegiate career for North Carolina, where she became the first player in UNC women’s history to be named All-ACC First Team as a freshman.
