UConn loses talented, promising guard Espinoza-Hunter

Geno Auriemma announced today, the team will no longer have Andra Espinoza-Hunter on its roster as she has elected to transfer from the university after only half a year.

“I have enjoyed getting to know Andy and her family. Everyone at UConn wishes Andy all the best as she continues her college career elsewhere,” stated Auriemma in the school’s press release.

As a freshman this season, Espinoza-Hunter averaged 2.0 points per game in 7.0 minutes per game.
