Last spring, Notre Dame’s deep season run was halted when All-American Brianna Turner went down with a torn ACL injury. Her injury had led her to the decision to sit out the upcoming year and return in the 2018-2019 season as a grad player.
“We discussed the situation with Bri, and we discussed it with her parents,” headcoach Muffet McGraw said. “And we all agree it’s in her best interests for her to sit out the year. So she’ll continue rehabbing, but she won’t be playing.”
