After it was announced Seattle was hosting the 2017 WNBA All-Star game, reports stated Minnesota had made a bid to host next season’s All-Star game.
Per a report, the bid was accepted and the 2018 All-Star game will indeed be held in Minnesota and the team plans to announce this weekend.
The news is even more exciting considering one, the Minnesota Lynx have never hosted a WNBA All-Star game, and the Target Center in Minneapolis will be complete after undergoing new renovations this season.
