With the halfway point of the WNBA season approaching, a few teams have made a couple cuts.

San Antonio announced today the team has waived forward Sophie Brunner. Brunner came to the Stars in a trade last week that sent Monique Currie to Phoenix. Shay Murphy also came to San Antonio in that trade. Brunner was in her first year in the WNBA after finishing at Arizona State.

Ify Ibekwe has been released from the Sparks according to the league’s transaction page. Ibekwe appeared in six games this year for Los Angeles after signing as a free agent.

Indiana also made a cut recently with the release of Nadia Colhado. She was a free agent who signed out of Brazil; Colhado appeared in five games this season.
