Today is the last day for teams to trade and up until now, things have been quiet since Monique Currie was traded to Phoenix.
Chicago has traded veterans Imani Boyette and Tamera Young to Atlanta in exchange for Jordan Hooper and a first round draft pick, according to Doug Feinberg from the AP.
So much for the tumbleweeds: AP Sources: @ImaniBoyette and @tyoung11 to @AtlantaDream for Hooper and 1st round pick in draft.

With the trade, this will be the second time Young has played for the franchise as she was drafted there in 2008 (8th overall pick) when she first entered the league. For the last seven and a half seasons, Young has played for the Sky. This year she is averaging 10.2 per game, 1.3 steals, 2.5 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game.
As for Boyette, this will be her first time playing for Atlanta. Boyette currently is averaging 4.6 points per game and 4.4 blocks in her second season with Chicago.
This will be the third team Jordan Hooper has played for this season after starting with Connecticut, being picked up off of waivers by Atlanta and now being traded to the Sky.
The 2018 draft is said to be very deep, so picking up a player in the first round next season could help this team who continues to find a new identity under a first-year head coach in Amber Stocks.
