Diamond DeShields announces she is headed to Turkey.

The Diamond DeShields story has added another chapter to it. About two weeks ago, we first reported, that DeShields was indeed headed to Turkey to play overseas in the fall, and launch her pro career.

Today, she officially made a statement confirming with a post on Instagram.

Thanking the man up stairs for his continued blessings! Turkey is a long way from home but my journey to self discovery and self improvement has brought me to this point and I'm super excited to be joining Cukurova basketball over in Turkey.
