Could the next GM of the New York Knicks be someone from the WNBA? That answer is a yes, according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.
In a tweet, Isola reported that Isiah Thomas is a “dark horse” candidate for the vacant GM position, that became available when Knicks owner James Dolan fired Phil Jackson. Thomas is currently the President for the New York Liberty.
One person close to the Knicks described Isiah Thomas as a "dark horse candidate" to become Knicks president.

It should comes as no surprise, being that Dolan has for years, has expressed his strong affinity for Thomas.
James Dolan on Isiah 7 years ago: "I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team."
