All-Star Bentley returns; Connecticut waives Fitzgerald

One of the hottest teams in the league right now is Connecticut who has really been putting on an offensive clinic in its last few games. Their four-game winning streak has taken place without arguably the Sun’s best player: Alex Bentley.

Good news for Connecticut, she has returned from playing abroad in the FIBA Eurobasket’s Women’s Tournament. In addition to Bentley returning, Feyonda Fitzgerald has been waived after temporarily filling a roster spot for the Sun in Bentley’s absence.
