Indianapolis— The Indiana Fever announced via a release on Tuesday afternoon that they had executed a trade with the San Antonio Stars for second-year guard Jazmon Gwathmey.
Per the release, in exchange for Gwathmey the Fever gave the Stars a third-round draft pick in the 2018 Draft.
Gwathmey played in 22 games and started in 10 last season for a Stars team that had a league-worst 7-27 record last year. In her rookie 2016 campaign, she averaged 3.3 points and spent the off-season playing overseas in Australia.
