With a new basketball shoe ready to make its debut on the court in 2017, Adidas announced today it has added four players to its hoops family. The additions are highlighted by two of the most popular sisters currently in the WNBA.

2016 WNBA MVP and Finals champ Nneka Ogwumike of the Los Angeles Sparks and her sister, 2014 Rookie of the Year Chiney Ogwumike of the Connecticut Sun will join the ranks of an Adidas basketball roster along with 2016 Finals Champion and Nneka’s teammate Chelsea Gray, and the no. 12 overall pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft Alexis Jones of the Minnesota Lynx.

The Ogwumike sisters, Gray and Jones join an Adidas basketball family that already features 2016 Finals MVP Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks, Imani Boyette of the Chicago Sky, and two former UConn players: Moriah Jefferson of the San Antonio Stars and the Connecticut Sun’s Morgan Tuck.

The newest additions will be featured in upcoming Adidas campaigns, will lace up Adidas’s Crazy Explosive basketball shoe to tip-off the 2017 season and will help the company in creating new footwear and apparel, according to the release from the shoe giant.
