Lately, it has been quiet in the college world with the news of players transferring but today some noise was made. After leaving Notre Dame earlier this spring, Erin Boley announced via Twitter she is headed to the west coast to play for Kelly Graves at Oregon.

“I kind of knew what I was looking for this time around,” Boley told the Daily Emerald. “I loved my visit to Oregon. I was just there this past weekend. I felt like I fit in perfectly with the team and loved Coach (Kelly) Graves and all the coaches. I felt like it’s a good place for me to make my new home and I feel like Oregon’s the school for me this time around.”

Boley chose the Ducks over Pac-12 enemy Stanford, as well as Vanderbilt.

Next year Boley will be limited to only practices with Oregon, but after the 2017-2018 season, she will have three years to play with the rest of the young talent the Ducks have.

“I think the Ducks have a bright future for sure. I felt like I fit in really well and I could see myself going to school there. The players and the coaches were the deciding factor.”
