Atlanta, GA — As with most teams in the WNBA, many of them are starting to trim their roster. The Atlanta Dream made two cuts, as they waived Markeisha Gatling and Jordan Reynolds, sources tell Swish Appeal.
Gatling played for the Dream last year. In the 16 games she played, she averaged 2.4 rebounds per game and 2.6 points per game. Prior to joining Atlanta, Gatling played two seasons with Seattle and a year with Chicago. During her career in the WNBA, she has averaged 3.8 points per game, 2.6 rebounds per game and 11 minutes per game.
Reynolds was drafted this year in the second round as the seventh pick for Atlanta. She graduated from Tennessee where she left as the SEC leader in assists to turnover ratio her senior year. In her four seasons with the Lady Vols Reynolds dished out 372 assists.
