Connecticut hopes to bring the heat to Minnesota, as they face the Lynx tonight at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Connecticut Sun is off to a rough 0-2 start this season. The team averages 76.5 points on 41.9 percent shooting and allowing 81 points on 40.5 percent shooting. Forward Morgan Tuck averages 17 points and 4.5 rebounds while guard Jasmine Thomas averages 14 points and three assists. They’ll be the key to winning tonight’s game against Minnesota. But, it’s easier said than done.

The Lynx (3-0) are currently undefeated and are looking to continue this streak at home. They’re powerful shooters, averaging 83 points on 41.3 percent shooting and allowing 73 points on 39.9 percent shooting.

Standing at 6’5”, center Sylvia Fowles is averaging 21.7 points and 10 rebounds while forward Maya Moore is averaging 16 points and 5.7 assists.

The Lynx typically protect its home court with the more recent loss coming last season to Los Angeles in the championship series. Twice last year Connecticut pulled off the upset by beating the Lynx in tight games, yet when they traveled to Minnesota the home team took the win.

Can the Sun change the narrative this year on the road?

Will the underdogs be victorious again?

Tune into ESPN 2 tonight at 8:00 PM ET to find out.
