The Dallas Wings (1-0) won their first game, 68-58, on the road against the Phoenix Mercury last Sunday. Tonight, they are hoping to keep up that momentum as they host the 2-0 Minnesota Lynx.

The Wings looked sharp in their season opener in Arizona, averaging 68 points on 41.7 percent shooting and allowing 58 points on 42.6 percent shooting. They are anticipating another win Saturday night, but they will, again, face the setback of not having second-year player Aerial Powers or rookie forward Evelyn Akhator on the court.

Powers continues to recover from hip surgery after tearing a ligament in her rookie season last year. She was named to the WNBA All-Rookie team and averaged 10.4 points per game.

Akhator, who was the third selection in last month's draft, has not played yet this season after suffering an ankle sprain in practice.

Both players are partaking in physical therapy and working towards being back on the court as soon as possible.
