Last month news broke that Mariya Moore was transferring from Lousiville despite being a major contributor and starter for the program. Even though Moore only has one year left of eligibility, she elected to get her release and play for another university.

Swish Appeal has learned through multiple sources, that the former Louisville star will be transferring to USC. Her sister Minyon will also remain with the Trojans.

Moore will be limited to only practicing for the team next year, as she will have to sit out the 2017-2018 season per NCAA Division I transfer rules.

This past season for the Cardinals, Moore averaged 12 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game and 4.9 assists per game.
