Chicago—The Chicago Sky will be without guard Jamierra Faulkner this season.
The Sky released a statement saying Faulkner will be sidelined after suffering a torn ACL. She will undergo surgery this week, according to the organization.
The release also went on to say that her injury occurred sometime in April while Faulkner was playing overseas in Poland for the Polish Women’s Basketball Team, CCC Polkwice.
Faulkner averaged nearly 8 points and 4.6 assists per contest during the 2016 season for Chicago.
