MANHATTAN, KS — Breaking news out of the Big 12 as Kansas State freshman, Eternati Willock, was arrested early Sunday morning, according to the Topeka Capital-Journal.
According to a Riley County Police Department arrest report, Willock was arrested at 12:40 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass and liquor purchase by a minor. She was booked in the Riley County Jail and her bond was set at $800.
RCPD Officer Alexander Robinson confirmed to KSNT that Willock, 19, was arrested at Johnny Kaw’s Sports Bar, a popular site for college students in Manhattan.
K-State head coach Jeff Mittie released a statement following the charges:
“We are aware of the situation with Eternati. Until we have gathered and reviewed all of the facts, she will be suspended indefinitely from all basketball-related activities.”
Willock is a 6’4” forward out of Scarborough, Canada, and averaged 6.6 points and 5.1 rebounds in her first season with the Wildcats. She made five starts and played in 31 games, garnering a unanimous selection for the 2017 Big 12 All-Freshman Team.
