Baylor’s Mompremier leaves team, granted release

Baylor sophomore Beatrice Mompremier is leaving the program, per the university.

One of the most talented post players in the country, Baylor’s Beatrice Mompremier, has decided to transfer. Mompremier was one of the top recruits in the country in 2015 and a McDonald’s All-American.

When reached for comment, Baylor said this in a release:

Sophomore post Beatrice Mompremier is no longer a part of the Baylor women’s basketball program and has been granted a release.

Mompremier appeared in 32 games in 2016-17. She averaged 8.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.
