Washington, D.C — This year’s WNBA off-season has been keeping fans on their toes and today the surprises continue to keep coming as players continue to announce where they are signing as a free agent.
Today the Washington Mystics added another high caliber scorer to its roster: Kristi Toliver, per a report by ESPN. Not long ago former MVP Elena Delle Donne was traded to the Mystics and now they have added an experienced point guard who has the ability to light up the score board and let’s not forget — she’s a new WNBA Champion after helping the Los Angles Sparks win last year.
It is too early to say what will happen during the upcoming season, however the potential is very evident with Washington’s revamped roster with the addition of Toliver and Delle Donne.
Toliver has been with Los Angeles since 2010; this will be her third team she has played with after also spending time with Chicago in 2009.
