Currently Baylor University is under fire for an ongoing sexual assault scandal, specifically surrounding the football team. While that news itself brings a ton of negativity to the school – which is understandable – others still believe despite this situation, being a part of the Baylor family is a smart decision.
For Kim Mulkey, who has been the head coach since 2000, she let the fans know following the Lady Bear’s victory on Saturday that she was not going to stand for the criticism surrounding the school.
“If somebody is around you and they ever say ‘I will never send my daughter to Baylor,’ you knock them right in the face. Because these kids are on this campus. I work here. My daughter went to school here, and it’s the damn best school in America.”
