WNBA fans will have one more reason to tune into NBA All-Star coverage this year.
The teams were announce for the 2017 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, and the Los Angeles Sparks Candace Parker and the Minnesota Lynx Lindsay Whalen are going to be featured on the West and East All-Star teams, respectively.
Parker and Whalen are coming off of a WNBA season that saw them pitted against one another in the WNBA Finals, with Parker coming away with the first title of her WNBA career.
The All-Star Celebrity Game will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans as part of the NBA’s lead up to the All-Star Game.
ESPN’s Michael Smith will coach the West team, and Jemele Hill will coach the East. Fans can tune into the All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
