ACL injury will force South Carolina star Cuevas-Moore to redshirt

While the Gamecocks hoped to see Bianca Cuevas-Moore back on the court, South Carolina has elected to red-shirt the senior guard.

Only a few days ago, head coach Dawn Staley stated there was a “possibility of Bianca Cuevas-Moore red-shirting” this season as she continues to rehab a knee injury.

In a report by the GamecocksOnline today, it has been confirmed the senior guard indeed will red-shirt the rest of this season.

Last season for the Gamecocks, Cuevas-Moore averaged 8.4 points per game and shot 37.4 percent from long range.
