Chicago, Ill- The DePaul faithful got two presents on Sunday, and one of them came in the form of a transfer.

Rebekah Dahlman, a graduate transfer student from Vanderbilt, had a remarkable debut as a Blue Demon, scoring 21 points in DePaul’s 128-77 thrashing of Saint Xavier. She wasn’t the only one in on the action, as Kelly Campbell had a double-double (11 pts, 10 reb) and Tanita Allen had 20 points of her own. Altogether, seven Blue Demons were in double digits scoring.

The Blue Demons proved that Saint Xavier was no match for them, scoring 38 points in the third quarter and forcing 38 turnovers overall. The four-time consecutive Big East Conference champions showed that their style of “DePaulball” can cause problems for opposing teams this season, as they scored 47 of their 128 points off those 38 turnovers. The Blue Demons kick off their season on November 10 against Northern Colorado at McGrath Phillips Arena.
