Last week, Northwestern announced its associate head coach Christie Sides had resigned from her position a “couple weeks ago” as she would be returning to the WNBA, however, they didn’t know where she would be going.
Sides will be reconnecting with her old boss Pokey Chatman, as she will be named new assistant coach of the Indiana Fever, multiple sources tell Swish Appeal.
Prior to joining the Wildcats, Sides spent six years in the WNBA, coaching alongside Chatman with the Chicago Sky. Prior to Chicago, Sides also served as an assistant for Chatman in Russia with Spartak Moscow Region and at LSU.
