Notre Dame ‘heartbroken’ by another ACL injury

One team that has already been impacted this season by the injury bug is Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish is already playing the year without Brianna Turner as she continues to rehab her knee after injuring it last season.

Unfortunately, Notre Dame will now have to play the season without another senior: Mychal Johnson. Johnson recently tore her ACL during practice.

"Very tough for Mychal and for all of us," Head coach Muffet McGraw said in a press release. "We are heartbroken to lose her. I am certain she will continue to be a leader for us and will find a way to help our team from the sidelines."
