The Connecticut Sun announced today they will add Reshanda Gray from the Atlanta Dream to its roster after trading her for Aneika Henry-Morello.

“We are excited to add Reshanda to the Connecticut Sun family,” Sun head coach and general manager Curt Miller shared with the media. “She is a physical post player who consistently battles on the glass and can thrive in our up-tempo offensive system. She plays with a high motor while giving us another exciting, young player heading into the 2017 season.”

Gray first entered the league in 2015 when the Minnesota Lynx drafted her as the overall 16th pick. She was later traded to Atlanta that year. Gray has appeared in 55 games, with averages of 3.7 points and 2.3 boards. Last season with the Dream Gray set career-highs in points and rebounds with 22 points, 11 rebounds in a win against Dallas.

This would not be the first time Henry-Morello has played for the Dream, as Atlanta is the only other WNBA team she has played for from 2012-2015. She then joined the Sun in Feb. of 2016 as a free agent. Last season she appeared in 10 games and on her career has averages of 4.3 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game.
