Prince signs contract extension with Liberty

Isiah Thomas, President of the New York Liberty, announced today the team has signed Epiphanny Prince to a multi-year contract extension.

Prince has been hurt the majority of the season, however, the franchise understands that she will be a key contributor to the team for years to come once she is healthy.

“Our expectation when we traded for Epiphanny Prince was that she would be a major contributor to our franchise for the long term,” said Liberty head coach Bill Laimbeer. “We are happy that she worked hard to come back, return to the court and contribute this season, and look forward to her continuing to be a critical part of our team’s success for years to come.”
